About the project

The building's exterior walls are made of FIBO blocks 300mm + Paroc Ultra stone wool insulation 100mm + plaster. The inter-floor slab is monolithic reinforced concrete. Attic insulation 300mm with stone wool. Each section has individual gas heating (consumption around 1200 kWh in winter months), deep water well, central sewage, 3-phase electricity, B1 class energy efficiency).
Heated floors with vinyl cover on the 1st floor, but laminate on the 2nd floor. Ash wood stairs with metal railings. Cast concrete slabs are uncovered to create a contemporary design in the interior.

Surroundings

On one side of the house is the Daugava promenade with a wide cycling path and recreational areas, while on the other side is the city centre with small cobbled streets that are particularly friendly to children and pedestrians. An ideal living place for families with little ones, with good kindergartens and a school.

Ikšķile is an ancient Livonian town in the Ogre municipality, which became the center of the Livonian bishopric as early as 1185. Approaching from the river side, you will encounter the Kābeļu hillfort with ancient burial mounds, which is a state-protected cultural monument, as well as the Carmelite Sisters Monastery. St. Meinard's Island with the ruins of the Ikšķile Church is located just a 5-minute drive away. The building is situated in a block close to the Daugava - nearer to water and sunlight.
